One pair hands virtually play themselves.  There's only one way to do it correctly.  It is also the most common hand to be dealt.  41.7% of the time you are playing pai gow poker you will be dealt a single pair.  Coupled with the 16% of the time that you'll be dealt less than one pair, if you learn the simple strategy for those two hands you'll be playing perfect pai gow poker on well over half the hands you are dealt.

Follow these simple steps:

• Put the pair in the high hand
• Put the next two highest cards in the 2nd high hand
• Put the rest of the cards in the high hand
